The death toll from the plane crash in Peru stands at 41, with 59 survivors being treated for injuries. They were admitted to a hospital in Pucallpa, near the scene of the crash. However, some have been taken to the capital, Lima, for further treatment. 100 passengers were on the state-owned airliner that left from central Pucallpa airport on Tuesday. A severe storm caused the aircraft to break in two and catch fire shortly after take-off.
