It's been a year since a massive earthquake devastated Pakistan's North West Frontier and Kashmir. Hundreds of Pakistanis have now taken to the streets in Islamabad. Some are marching to remember loved ones who died in the quake. Others are protesting what they say is the misuse of almost 7-billion US dollars in aid.
Hundreds of people marched through the Pakistani capital, carrying signs with anti-government slogans. More than 80-thousand were killed in last year's disaster, and three million were left homeless. Slow reconstruction has angered many. Protesters accuse the government of corruption and failure to deliver on promises. Pakistani President, Pervez Musharraf, has dismissed criticism, saying that reconstruction is progressing as it should.
