Wu Bangguo meets African leaders

China's top legislator Wu Bangguo has also been busy. He met with Algerian president Abdelaziz Bouteflika, South African president Thabo Mbeki, and Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak and Mauritian Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam.
The Chinese and African leaders praised the China-Africa summit. Wu said China is willing to strengthen ties in energy, telecommunications, infrastructure and other fields. He says he hopes that legislators in both countries will work together more closely and continue to support each other. The African leaders reaffirmed their commitment to the One-China policy.
