Air strike in Gaza

An Israeli air strike in the Gaza Strip has destroyed the home of Ahmed el Jabari, a leading Hamas militant.

According to Hamas and security sources, Wednesday's strike injured no one in the house, because an earlier warning had given occupants enough time to escape. Jabari is second in command in Hamas's military wing. And the attack on his home in the Gaza Strip comes just a day after Hamas fired half a dozen rockets at Israel. Reports say several rockets struck the southern Israeli city of Ashkelon, but caused no injuries.
