US president to meet Iraqi PM

US President George W. Bush will hold a meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki in Jordan next week. The White House says President Bush will fly to Amman following the NATO summit in Riga, Latvia for talks on Wednesday and Thursday with the Iraqi leader.

The talks are scheduled to focus on building security and stability in Iraq. The leaders will also discuss progress made in establishing a high-level joint committee to oversee the process of transferring security responsibilities in the country.
