Hu Jintao speaks to Bush about Sino-US relations

Chinese President Hu Jintao and US leader George W. Bush have discussed Sino-US relations.

This, amongst other issues, in a telephone call on Monday. Hu Jintao said China is willing to work with the US to implement the consensus reached during the recent Economic Leaders' Meeting at the APEC forum. Bush spoke highly of his meeting with Hu Jintao, saying the two sides had useful discussions on several important issues. They also agreed to promote a sound and sustained development of Sino-US relations.
