Int´l bird flu conference opens in Mali

Bird flu experts from around the world are gathering in Mali to plan the next stage of their campaign to control the disease and ward off a devastating human flu pandemic.

The three-day conference in the African country began on Wednesday, and is the fourth global bird flu meeting since late last year.
