Japan appreciates China´s efforts at resuming the 6-party talks

Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Aso says Japan appreciates China's efforts at resuming the six-party talks. Aso made the statement on Thursday during discussions with his Singaporean counterpart George Yeo.

The two also exchanged views on the upcoming ASEAN-Plus-Three foreign ministers' meeting in the Philippines, as well as Sino-Japanese relations. Aso, who is on his way to the Philippines for the ASEAN meeting, said that since Shinzo Abe's visit to China, Sino-Japanese relations have warmed.
