6-party talks move in to third day

The ongoing six-party talks on the DPRK nuclear issue, which have entered their third day in China's capital city.

Nuclear negotiators from the DPRK, the US, China, South Korea, Russia and Japan have a busy schedule today.

Bilateral meetings have dominated this morning's six-party talks. This afternoon Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing, is set to meet with chief negotiators, after which a third meeting will be held. Media highlights today include the coordination among delegates over the detailed schemes on how to implement the September 2005 joint statement and to achieve substantial progress during bilateral talks between the U.S. and DPRK over financial sanctions.
