10 killed in car bombs and mortar shells in Iraq

Special Report: Iraq in TransitionCar bombs and mortar shells killed ten people on Sunday across the Iraq. Meanwhile 2,000 demonstrators take to the street in the Baghdad slum Sadr City, to protest a recent American attack.
Violence hasn't gone with Saddam. In central Baghdad, a bomb killed two bodyguards of an Iraqi Education official. The Director General at the Iraqi Ministry of Education narrowly escaped the attack.
Another roadside bomb exploded in Southeastern Baghdad, killing two civilians and wounding two others.
And in the town of Hilla, 100 kilometers south of the Capital, a car bomb targeted a market. Two were killed, with 11 wounded.
Mortar shells also took their toll, killing four civilians near a residential area in central Baghdad over the bloody weekend.
Anger is high in Iraq. In the Baghdad slum of Sadr city, 2,000 Shiite supporters took to the streets to protest US attacks. According to witnesses, US raids resulted in the arrests of eight people.
