Bush´s Iraq plan draws fire from US senators

President Bush's new strategy for Iraq has drawn fire from Democrats and some Republicans.

A Republican senator called Bush's Iraq plan "the most dangerous foreign policy blunder" since Vietnam.

Some Democratic and Republican senators have voiced strong concern that the Iraq war could spread to neighboring Iran if the US military were to chase militants across the border.
