Gaza: Huge blast damages Arabic offices, Hamas denies involvement

In Gaza City, a huge blast has damaged the offices of an Arabic satellite channel, al-Arabiya. They share the office with local broadcaster, MBC.

The office was empty at the time, and no one was hurt. The executive editor of al-Arabiya, Nabil al-Khatib, says the station had earlier received threats, but it was not clear if these were linked to Monday's blast.

No party has yet to claim responsibility for the attack. Palestinian government spokesman, also Hamas member, Ghazi Hamad, has denounced the bombing, and denied any involvement.

He also says Hamas has not ruled out involvement by other parties, who aim to worsen tension in the region.
