Cease-fire between Hamas, Fatah enter second day

The cease-fire between the Palestinian rival factions of Hamas and Fatah has now entered its second day.

Both say they will do their best to maintain the truce and work towards a National Unity Government.

Many feared an end to the truce on Tuesday, when Fatah militants killed a Hamas commander. But the threat was averted when leaders of both parties called for calm.
