China, South Africa agree to further boost bilateral ties

Chinese President Hu Jintao in the South African capital of Pretoria on a mission to build a long-term and stable strategic partnership.
In a joint communique issued on Tuesday, the two sides hailed current healthy relations. They said they were satisfied with strong growth in political and economic ties. They also applauded the rapid development of scientific, technological and cultural relations, since diplomatic ties were established less than a decade ago.
Both sides agreed to further boost bilateral ties. South Africa also reaffirmed its commitment to the One-China policy.
