Baghdad: Suicide bomber kills 18

A suicide bomber driving a small truck rigged with explosives has killed 18 people near a Baghdad college.

Police say the bomber set off the blast in a parking lot near the College of Economic Sciences, a private university in the western residential Iskan district.

40 people were wounded in the blast in the mainly Shi'ite area that set cars ablaze and destroyed a nearby home. The attack follows devastating bombings at two markets on Monday that killed at least 77 people.
