Hu´s visit to highlight growing economic ties with Russia

Chinese President Hu Jintao continues to prepare for a busy state visit to Russia next week.

Assistant Foreign Minister Li Hui says the three-day trip will highlight the growing economic ties with Russia.

The Chinese delegation is expected to sign trade and investment agreements worth more than two billion US dollars.

President Hu Jintao will also attend the opening ceremony of the "Year of China in Russia" with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
