Israel successfully test-fires anti-missile system

The Israeli Defense Ministry says it has successfully test-fired its Arrow anti-ballistic missile system.

The system was developed jointly by Israel and the United States, and is designed to intercept incoming ballistic missiles at high altitudes.

The Ministry announced on Monday it had conducted the test to collect crucial engineering data.
