Premier Wen Jiabao has also met his South Korean counterpart Han Duck-soo. Both say they are willing to improve Sino-South Korean cooperation.
But right now, Wen says the two sides should celebrate the 15th anniversary of diplomatic ties and the launch of the China-South Korea Exchange Year. He says the two countries should also work together to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula.
Han says South Korea wants to explore creating a free trade zone with China, as well as closer collaboration on a wide range of issues, including trade, telecommunications, and nuclear energy.
