Poland says all NATO members should be covered by missile defense

The Polish president has said that all NATO members should receive full and equal protection from any proposed anti-missile defense system.

Lech Kaczynski has just held talks with NATO Secretary General, Jaap de Hoop Scheffer. And Kaczynski says both sides agreed that all NATO allies should get comprehensive and equal protection under the planned defense system.

The Polish president also said he will hold talks shortly with his US counterpart about Washington's plans to locate part of the missile defense shield in Poland. President George W. Bush is set to arrive in the Polish capital of Warsaw on Friday.
