An unusual police car patrolled the streets of city Fuzhou, capital of southeast China's Fujian province on Tuesday. Police say the eight-wheel machine newly put in use is an amphibious vehicle. On the land it can run at 50 kilometers an hour, while in water it moves like a boat. It's designed especially for flood emergencies, which are familiar to coastal areas in east China in summer time.
