Chinese and Russian police have concluded a three-day joint anti-terrorist exercise in the suburbs of Moscow.
During the operation, special forces from both countries rescued "hostages" from "hijackers" in an administrative building on the Sino-Russian border.
Wu Shuangzhan, commander of the Chinese People's Armed Police Force, said the "Cooperation 2007" exercise had improved the anti-terror capabilities of police and interior troops of the two countries -- and strengthened cooperation and friendship.
The joint exercise, which was divided into three phases, involved some 600 Chinese and Russian troops.
