Reporter-friendly services provided at CPC Nat´l Congress media center

Special Report: 17th CPC National CongressThe 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China is proposed to open in Beijing next Monday.
Journalists covering the event can now get access to a wide range of reporter-friendly services at the media center for the CPC National Congress. The facility began operations on Monday at the Media Center Hotel, just up the street from the CCTV headquarters.
One of the responsibilities for staff here is handling applications for overseas reporters.
Around 1,000 reporters from overseas have already signed up.The figure is larger than that of the previous party congress.
Publications on Chinese economy and the arts are available in a variety of languages.Reporters can get them free of charge.
"Every aspect of life, which is decided here at this party congress will influence all aspects of the life, including economy, politics and everything. So this is why the party congress is so important from the point of view for seeing future of China for the next five years." said a reporter from Ukrainian Press.
A reporter from Pakistani Press said, "We're very happy that China's economy is booming. So my interesting field will be the economy."
The media center also offers free broadcasting signals and updated photos related to the party congress. An official web site for the media center has also been launched.
For the first time, reporters can apply online for interviewing party delegates.And during the CPC National Congress, a number of delegation discussion sessions will be open to the media.
