Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda says he hopes to visit China at an early date.
He says Japanese-Chinese relations are becoming increasingly beneficial to both countries and the two sides should address a variety of issues including trade and other exchanges.
On the East China Sea issue Fukuda calls for the two parties to seek a solution acceptable to both sides.
