Clean up efforts are underway in Bangladesh after Tropical Cyclone Sidr. It roared across the country's southwestern coast, killing at least 580 people. There are estimates the death toll could reach more than 1100.
International aid agencies, including the United Nations World Food Programme, are ferrying food and medicine to hundreds of thousands of survivors. The cyclone's strong winds uprooted trees, snapped power and telecommunication lines. At least 600,000 villagers in coastal areas sought refuge in shelters.
