Chinese navy ship to visit Japan for 1st time in history

A Chinese naval ship is on its way to Japan for a goodwill visit at the invitation of the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force.

It's a first in the history of China's navy forces within the People's Liberation Army. The missile destroyer, named "Shenzhen" left port in the southern city of Zhanjiang early on Wednesday.

It is scheduled to be in Japan for four days.
