Israeli foreign minister Tzipi Livni says she is satisfied with the Annapolis conference and says it was not just a photo opportunity.

Livni adds, the conference marks the beginning of a Mideast peace process and a connection with the Arab world.

Tzipi Livni, Israeli foreign minister, said, "There is an interest, to us and also to the Palestinians and the Arab world, to get the process moving. The Arab world decided to come and the photo itself has meaning...If we reach an agreement it will be the first between the Israelis and Palestinians that means of ending the conflict. It is not simple, it is complicated, but that is the goal."
