Veterinarians on Saturday operated on a giant panda in northwestern China. It was found on December 12th in a conservation park with a fracture near its hip.
The wild panda was operated on in Xi'an, the provincial capital of Shaanxi Province. Doctors say the panda is now on the road to a swift recovery.
