China sends condolences to Bhutto´s family

At the Pakistani Embassy in China, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs He Yafei said China is saddened by former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto's assassination and offers condolences to her family. He Yafei also expressed China's appreciation for Bhutto's contributions to Sino-Pakistani friendship and hopes the Pakistani people will overcome difficulties and maintain social stability and development.
Russian president Vladimir Putin has called the murder of Benazir Bhutto "a barbaric act of terrorism"and "a challenge thrown down by forces of terrorism not only to Pakistan but also to the entire international community." Putin says he hopes Bhutto's killers will be found and punished accordingly.
