Kenya rejects Annan mediation

A powerful Kenyan cabinet minister has rejected mediation by former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan saying there is no problem to solve because President Mwai Kibaki won last month's election.

Roads and Public Works Minister John Michuki says Annan is not coming at their invitation, and the Kenyan government is capable of handling the issue and there is no need for help from the international community.
