Olmert says his country will continue to fight Islamic Jihad, Hamas and all their allies without compromise.

He also says Israel doesn't want to harm innocent civilians in Gaza, but Israel will continue its campaign to target militants.

Conflict between militants in Gaza and Israeli troops has escalated since Tuesday. Twenty-five Palestinians, including a militant leader and his wife, have been killed.

Meanwhile, Palestinian militants claim they've fired 150 rockets attacking Israel since Tuesday.
