Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf has arrived in Brussels, the first stop of a four-country European trip.

Before meeting with European Union and Belgian leaders, Musharraf met with members of the Pakistani community living in Belgium, the Netherlands and France.

Musharraf called on Pakistanis to respect the laws of the country they are living in, reminding them they are representatives of both Pakistan and Islam.

Musharraf will next visit France, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Reports say his visit is aimed at improving Pakistan's image overseas.
