Abbas: Peace talks must continue

But Abbas is standing firm, saying peace talks with Israel will go on.

Mahmoud Abbas, Palestinian President, said, "Halting the talks will not help, we must intensify our contacts and meetings in order to put an end to the suffering of our people. How can we convince the other side that our people are suffering when we turn our backs on them and we say 'no' to the dialogue with the Israelis. I think it's the opposite. We must continue."
