Saturday was the third day of the Spring Festival. And people around the country have been celebrating in many different ways.

For these foreigners in Tianjin, the Spring Festival had something special for them on Friday.

The Son-in-law's Festival falls on the second day of the lunar New Year. And many son-in-laws from overseas enjoyed this celebration.

In the ancient city Pingyao in Shanxi province, hundreds of visitors from around the world have been lit fireworks, made paper cuttings and delicacies with local residents every day.

In the countryside in Anhui province, lion and dragon dances were performed to wish for a prosperous and happy new year. Olympic mascots are also taking part in the festivities.

These soldiers on the southern coast held a basketball competition to celebrate the festival. And they also staged performances to cheer up the troops away from home.
