Some restaurants have got ready, as a draft law "the Provisions to Ban Smoking in Public Places in Beijing" will be enacted on May 31. Restaurants will set up clearly-marked and well-ventilated indoor smoking areas. And besides, a smoking bans has also been placed inside hotels, training centers and resorts for the first time.
Fines for violations will be only 50 Yuan, or 6. 91 US dollars. The regulations are considered to be an effective support for the "Smoke-free Olympics".
