Thanks to continuous efforts by the power supply bureau, the army and people in the region, all areas here now have electricity again. Dingfang village was the last.
In Zhejiang, teams of horses were sent in from Yunan and Anhui to help with the repair work in mountainous areas.
Meanwhile, food, coal and quilts have been shipped from all over the country to the south.
Driver Wang Dali from Jilin Province, said, "We are sending them to Jiangxi. We are making our efforts so that they have meat to eat for the festival."
Forestry in Chenzhou, Hunan Province was hard hit by the disasters, with 60% percent of forests destroyed. The Ministry of Science and Technology will set up a high quality sapling nursery here to help grow trees again.
