The corporate goods price index measures prices that businesses pay for inputs ranging from coal to grains. The People's Bank of China announced the figure Tuesday.
The figures round out a set of record inflation data for January, when Consumer Price Index and Producer Price Index hit 7.1 and 6.1 percent respectively. Analysts say last month's figures were affected to some extent by the snow storms that hit southern China.
