1st Session of 11th National Committee of CPPCC opens preparatory meeting

Later today a preparatory meeting will take place of the First Session of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.

The meeting will approve the presidium members, the chairperson and secretary general the agenda plus the proposals examination committee.

The new presidium will then meet to approve its executive chairpersons. A news conference on the CPPCC session will follow after.
