Car bombs kill at least 23 in Iraq

Staying with Iraq Car bombs have killed at least 23 people and wounded dozens of others in Baghdad.

The blast killed at least two police officers and  wounded six others.(CCTV.com)

Police say one of the cars was driven by a suicide attacker.

In the deadliest single attack, a bomb in a parked car killed at least 21 people and wounded 43 in the central Bab al-Mudham neighborhood on the eastern bank of the Tigris.

In the suicide attack, a man drove a mini bus at the headquarters of the Interior Ministry's 4th Brigade in the eastern Zayouna neighborhood.

The blast killed at least two police officers and wounded six others.

Neither of the attacks took place in parts of the city where Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was visiting.
