Delegates agree that improvements in technology, especially information technology, will catalyze and increase the capabilities of the armed forces. Since last year, the People's Liberation Army has placed heavy emphasis on training soldiers to function in a digital, high-tech environment.
The delegates noted that the army has drastically increased its ability multi-task in recent years. This is because training has evolved from centering around mechanics to a new focus on using information technology.
