Wen Jiabao nominated candidate for Chinese premier

BEIJING, March 16 (Xinhua) -- Wen Jiabao was nominated at a plenary meeting of China's parliament on Sunday morning as the sole candidate for the premier of China's State Council in a letter signed by Chinese President Hu Jintao.
