Veteran official talks on Lhasa riot

BEIJING, March 19 (Xinhua) -- A veteran Tibetan official Ragdi talked here Wednesday morning on the recent Lhasa riot.

Ragdi, former vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, or China's top legislature, and honorary chairman of the second Counseling Committee on Development of the Tibet Autonomous Region, spoke at a meeting of the counseling committee.
