Special Report: 3.14 Tibet RiotsGovernment officials in Sichuan and Gansu say riots by Tibetans in the two provinces are closely linked with Friday's riots in Lhasa. And the officials also say the attacks were all coordinated by the Dalai clique.
Mobsters attacked shops and government offices in Aba county in China's southwestern province of Sichuan on Sunday. There has also been unrest in some counties in Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in the northwestern province of Gansu.
In both provinces, the rioters were armed with rocks and homemade petrol bombs as they stormed government offices, police stations, hospitals, schools, shops and markets. Police officers and government staff were reportedly injured by the rioters.
