The Vice-chairman of the 11th National Committee of the CPPCC, Pagbalha Geleg Namgyai of Tibetan origin says the recent rioting in Lhasa is a sabotage plot by the Dalai Lama clique, aimed at seceding Tibet from China. He made the remarks in a signed article published in the newspaper Tibet Daily.
He said the unrest has a profound political backdrop and a complicated social scenario. He added that by organizing, premeditating and carefully planning the unrest, the Dalai clique has the purpose of stirring up troubles at a sensitive time by attempting to cause bloodshed so as to disturb China's political stability and harmony.
