Janne Christian Fredrik from Sweden traveled to Lhasa on his bike a month before the riot of the 14th of March. That day, he was in his hotel on Youth Road where many shops were set on fire and looted. He heard people screaming outside and saw smoke rising in different parts of the city. He went outside and saw the rioters.
Janne thinks it was an organized action.
Janne told a reporter that the situation started to improve quite quickly.

Rene has been working for a travel agency in Lhasa for two years. He also witnessed the violence near his hotel.
The local government says foreign media representatives will also visit Lhasa in the near future.
