Public cultural facilities in Lhasa have now reopened two weeks after the riots on March 14th. People in the city once again are enjoying cultural pastimes.

Public cultural facilities in Lhasa have now reopened two weeks after the riots on March 14th. People in the city once again are enjoying cultural pastimes.

Over 50 students from Tibet University have gathered in the Tibet Museum for an event titled "Love Tibet, Welcome the Olympics".

Organizers say the event was originally planned for before the Olympic flame lighting ceremony in ancient Olympia. They said the museum has now reopened and that people's cultural life is back to normal. More and more people are going to the reopened Tibet Library. And a reading bar in the city has also welcomed an increase of customers.
