It's now three weeks since the riots, and Aba Tibetan-Qiang Autonomous Prefecture in southwestern China is still recovering from the unrest. There is more on the damage and investigations underway in Aba.

This is what happened in Aba, a city of more than 64,000 people. Almost 90 percent of the population is Tibetan.

The city was badly damaged in the March 16th riots.

Official figures show many civilians were wounded, while around 200 government workers and police were also injured.

24 shops were burnt down, and 81 vehicles set on fire.

Economic losses from the smashing, looting and arson amount to more than 10 years of the county's income.
