International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge has also condemned violent protests targeting the Beijing Olympic torch relay. He said violence is by no means acceptable.
Condemnation also came from Japanese Foreign Minister, Masahiko Komura. Several foreign leaders have said there shouldn't be any boycott of the Beijing Olympics.
Meanwhile, US President George W. Bush and Thai Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej have both reaffirmed they will attend the opening ceremony of the Beijing Games.
