The Labrang monastery in northwest China's Gansu province is reopening for the May day holiday and has received many monks and tourists. The Labrang monastery is the second in size only to the Potala Palace.

The Labrang monastery in northwest China's Gansu  province is reopening for the May day holiday and has received many monks and tourists.

It has an area of 80 hectares. So far, many tourist destinations in the Gannan district in Gansu province have been gradually opening to the public.
