World leaders and international organizations have offered their condolences and sympathy to China after Monday's earthquake in Sichuan province.
Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda extended his condolences, hoping victims can get back to their normal lives and reconstruct their homes soon.
US President George W.Bush also extended his condolences to the injured and to the families of the victims.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansa and Russian Ambassador to China Sergei Razov also extended their condolences and sympathy to China over the quake.
