Children at the Bayi Tent School in Mianyang had a special guest this morning. China's first man in space, Yang Liwei went to the school to spend Children's Day with the students. He took part in a class meeting and talked with the students there.

"Dear Students, today we're going to celebrate International Children's Day. This Children's Day is different from previous ones, because we've invited the space hero, Yang Liwei."

"Yang Liwei will spend Children's Day with us. Are you pleased?"

"Yes!"

"Please be seated. Do you have anything to say to Yang Liwei?"

"Yes!"

"How did you feel when you stepped into the spaceship?"

"I was quite excited. And I want to ask you--would you be nervous if you rode in a spaceship?"

"Yes!"

"Actually, I wasn't that nervous. I was quite excited. You see, President Hu Jintao saw me off and Premier Wen Jiabao called me and so many people cared about me. I was just doing my job. Should I be nervous?"

"No!"

"Could you take us with you to travel in space?"

"No problem. I do hope we can go together. Not just to travel in space, but to explore it. We'll go to the Moon and even to Mars. This time I've brought you a gift. I hope with our common effort and your hard study, you can make our bigger dreams come true. We Chinese have realized the dream of exploring space. Some day in the future, when you land on the Moon or Mars, you will realize our greater Chinese dreams. This is a gift for you."

"Let's thank Yang Liwei!"
